Officer for medical product safety
The Officer for medical product safety performs the following tasks pursuant to Section 6 Para. 2 MPBetreibV:
- The duties of a contact for official bodies, manufacturers and distributors in the context of reports about risks of medical products and in the implementation of necessary corrective measures;
- Coordination of the internal processes in a health facility in fulfilment of reporting and participatory obligations of users and operators;
- Coordination of the implementation of corrective measures and recall measures in the health facilities by the officer in charge in accordance with Section 5 of the Medical Product Law.
